Awakening of Rejuvenation

Renewal of Hope
A difficult task at times
Times of natural disaster
Floods, fire, tornadoes
Hope is tested
Even unthinkable
Suddenly you realize
Tomorrow is here
The dawn of a new day
The sun kissing your face
Laughter, smiles and hope returning
Knowing you have survived, hope renews

oops, so sorry, O’Nika! I meant to write “O’Nika”, not Yvette’s name!
No worries, David! Thank you for letting me know about the prompt.

Beautiful poem about the power of hope, O’Nika! I loved it.

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it, I appreciate that.

So true! It feels impossible when we’re in the midst of difficulty, but our hope will guide us through. Inspiring message.
Thank you! I appreciate it and in those difficult times we must try our best to look on the bright side of things. Usually there is a bright side, but it may take us a minute to figure that out.

Well said.
O’Nika, your poem is a beautiful reflection on the resilience found through adversity. The imagery of a new day bringing hope and renewal is uplifting. I’ve also fixed the link for you, as it seems the previous week’s poem was accidentally shared with Mister Linky. You’re all set now!
Much love,
David
Thank you so much, David! It is hard to be hopeful in the face of adversity but it does help. Thank you for fixing the link, I thought I did something wrong when I sent it.

This was very nice O’NIKA
Thank you so much, Louis!
