Autumn Whispers

Autumn leaves
the maples are green
first frost turns them ruby red
waving with each breeze
fading to sun-kissed bursting
crisp air of autumn whispers

Maple leaves turn from green, then red and eventually fade to rust/orange and even yellow. The turning of the leaves, ushers in Autumn.

Thank you for reading Autumn Whispers. It was written for the Tanka Tuesday prompt this week.
