what looks like great distance
is just within reach
one foot in front of the other
the bridge is the tether
that keeps us together
the bridge will not give way
the first step forward is proof
close your eyes if you must
let faith lead the way
the way to safety
the way to family
the way to love
the way to peace
the way to your hearts desire
