Together or Separate

If you ever question whether or not to stand up for what you believe in, remember this quote. "It takes nothing to join the crowd. It takes everything to stand alone." Hans F. Hansen

Joining the crowd can mean being a part of community. Coming together with others who share the same view. Standing alone can be very sobering. It forces you to quickly realize that you no longer have the village with you.

Either way, it does not matter as long as you are being true to your beliefs and standards. How do you interpret this quote?

This is powerful. Standing alone can feel isolating, but sometimes it’s the only way to stay true to who you are. And even if it costs you your comfort or your “village,” your peace and integrity are worth more. It reminds me of that Bob Marley quote: “The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for.” Not every crowd deserves your voice, and not every silence deserves your loyalty. ♥️

Wow, I love that quote! And I like how you put things into perspective about not every crowd deserves your voice and not every silence deserves your loyalty…🤔 It is certainly hard to stand alone but very necessary at times. Thank you so much💛🙌

You already know this is me all the way more Malcolm than Martin when it comes to this subject great insight O’NIKA
