Posture Me Blue

Posture Me Blue

Posture me blue
Sitting arms at side
Bored to tears, statuesque
Striking movement in stride
Bending at the waist
Derriere and floor become one
Arm cradling head
Exhale stress and dread
Chin pressed to chest
Relaxed, I posture, rest
My birthday suit at its best
Relaxed, I imbue serene
Posture me blue

Posture Me Blue is written in response to the word prompt.

A sculpture in words, so unique πŸ’™ I like the line β€œMy birthday suit at its best” signifying vulnerability yet confidence.

Nicely written, the art is perfect πŸ’™

I appreciate your kind words! Thank you. I was trying to correlate calmness with the color blue. At the same time highlighting the “birthday suit” being both vulnerable and confident. πŸ’™πŸ₯°

Thank you, Yvette! I was trying to make the connection of calm and the color blue. Yoga definitely adds to that as well. Glad you enjoyed! πŸ™πŸ’™

Thank you so much! πŸ’•πŸ™I’m glad you enjoyed it! Yoga does bring to mind relaxation with the gentle stretching and breathing techniques.

I really like the calm flow of this, O’Nika. The way β€œexhale stress and dread / chin pressed to chest” moves into rest feels soothing to me.

Much love,
David
