No Need for Name Calling

No Need for Name Calling

An Etheree

Knock
Who's there?
Tap, tap, tap
Tap tap tap who?
Knock, knock, tap, tap, bam
Who's that rapping my door?
Knock, knock, tap, tap, bam, bam, ding
Pressing the doorbell again, dong
Trodding to the door, you yell, coming!
Just open the door already, Ding Dong!

Robbie invites us to write a poem using onomatopoeia for this week’s Tanka Tuesday challenge. I tried to add some humor to this one about someone knocking at the door. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy it!😊 And thank you, Robbie, for your inspiration. πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’•

Wow there was a familiar episode that happened last week like this on a door cam lol πŸ˜†

I love this, it certainly carries the whole scene so well, and the last line I love the ambiguity which is told only by the title – clever.

πŸ˜ƒ lol, I understand. And sometimes people will keep ringing the bell even though they hear the dog barking, go figureπŸ’•

Yes, with that dreadful knocking, you can never tell what will happen nextπŸ˜€ Thank you for stopping by and reading πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ½
