Waiting
In Autumn’s bliss
You said we would meet
Yearning to plant a kiss
Softly across your lips
Leaves falling in a whisper
Like your warm caress
Wind
Rustling like a hiss
What did I miss?
Is this a tiff?
Cold day
Even longer night ahead
Going back inside
I silently wish
Morning
Will serve up a new dish
Dish of your warm, savory smile
Sprinkled with warmth and love
Thank you for reading🙏🏽♥️
