Life and Wisdom-Tanaga

loneliness is an ulcer
inside, hidden, like sulfur
ravenous like a vulture
love sparks the heart, a pulser

Loneliness is something that people feel but no one can tell from the outside. A feeling that only that individual knows. Love, on the other hand is the cure. Love can be a small gesture of kindness, like simply smiling at a person. Giving them a compliment. Saying hello. Love can be talking to someone just for a few minutes longer than you normally would. Giving that extra time and/or attention. It does not have to be a grand gesture. These small and simple gestures carry such a significant meaning and have a positive impact on others and us.

The tanaga is written for the W3 prompt. Congratulations Michelle and thank you David.

Interpret this Quote

“Next to trying and winning, the best thing is trying and failing.”

L.M. Montgomery

Trying is the first step to discovery. Discovering your potential and finding out what is possible. Of course, in trying things in life we set out to win. Life does not always work out that way.

Failure, on the other hand is such a great teacher. When we fail at things, we learn how not to do something on the next try. Failing is one of the best ways to learn. It gives us another opportunity at our pursuits in life. We have the chance to rethink and redo our previous attempts.

Winning is what comes out of our previous failed attempts. If we always win, what will we ever learn or how will we ever grow?
