Come Into the Light

Come into the light All is not lost Life can be a conundrum Which do you choose; fight or flight? Come into the light Flames are still smoldering Calling for your attention Release the pressures you are shouldering Come into the light Turn on the wick Accept light and love Fulfillment comes real quick Come into the light Whether you choose fight or flight Flames are still smoldering Accept light and love

O’Nika, your effective use of repetition and the concise encouragement to embrace light and love, irrespective of the choices between fight or flight, lends a motivational and resonant quality to this poem! This is wonderful <3

David, thank you so much!! I appreciate your kind words. Sometimes it is easy to fall into the darkness or negativity, so I wanted to reflect on light and love.
