Boarding at Gate B6

Where to, I travel

Time to unravel

Rush, hustle, mass of people

Some vacation bound

Excitement, the sound

Heard atop a church steeple

Some not so happy

No mood for sappy

Ill family is waiting

Your arrival soon

Touch down people swoon

Praying, now grief abating

Melissa is the host for this week’s Tanka Tuesday challenge. She has presented the form, Alouette, for writers to join in. A first time writing an Alouette for me. Hope you enjoy.

Boarding at Gate B6 is about certain moments in life. The times to cultivate life by traveling for much needed vacations. Also, times of travel to show love and care for family/friends who fall ill.
