How Do You Feel About Using Artificial Intelligence Software for Writing?
Artificial Intelligence software for writing. Yes or no?
Do you feel that using artificial intelligence (A.I.) software to write blog content, articles, etc.. is cheating? If you can plug in certain parameters and the software translates it for you, is that being original?
Most people who create content for their blog or other writing usually enjoy the writing process. Coming up with their own ideas and incorporating the exact thoughts that they want to convey.
Using A.I. takes away from that. Sure, it is faster and saves you some time. It does help with grammar and spelling mistakes.
But, I equate that to DJs who use a computer for their set, instead of spinning the vinyl. Or, artists who use ghostwriters for their music.
Can you answer this? To tip or not to tip; that is the question. People who work in the restaurant/customer service industry have a hard job. They are dealing with the public and trying to do a good job by delivering great service. Do you feel that they should be rewarded for a job well done or should they not receive a tip at all? How do you weigh in on this?
Is the tip amount dependent on how well their service was during your visit? Do you feel like this their job and as long as you paid your tab there is no need to tip? What about the servers who are just plain rude and have no interest in serving you with kindness?
So, you are thinking about getting a household companion? While pets are cute and cuddly, they also come with responsibility. Before you adopt a pet think about what you are taking on. The last thing we want to happen is for a pet to be adopted and then sent back to the animal shelter. And who knows where they will end up from there.
Cats are a very independent species. They are nocturnal too, so keep that in mind. While you are trying to sleep, they might be up to shenanigans. Cats are self-sufficient, with cleaning themselves. They need fresh food and water. Also, their litter box should be cleaned often. Keep plenty of cat toys available too. They love to paw at things. The laser light keeps them occupied too. Felines have razor sharp, quick reflexes.
If you have a rodent problem, cats will keep that at bay. Sitting in the window is another past time that they like. I’m not sure why but some cats do not like you touching their bellies. Beware of the claws.
Dogs are another great and loyal household companion. They require more attention, with the need for daily walks. Dogs are great protectors and can ward off people with ill intent. Some dogs will destroy the house out of boredom. Make sure you have time to invest in your four-legged companion. Canines, like felines need toys, fresh food and water.
Both cats and dogs help to relieve stress. They give us a feeling of happiness. Another thing that is great, is that they are judgement free. They will love us just like we love them too. I think the answer depends on your energy level, household makeup, lifestyle and finances.
So, can you answer this? Is a cat or dog a better pet? What do you say?
Hearing a child laugh is a sound that is so beautiful. It is something that I, for one, would not get tired of hearing. Children are so innocent and pure. Nothing makes the heart smile more than to hear the laughter of children. When I hear a child laugh it makes me feel joy and happiness, right along with them.
Can you answer this? What compares to a child’s laughter?
Can You Answer This? What Are the Benefits to Being Employed?
Being employed comes with many benefits. I know sometimes we complain about certain aspects of working, but it comes with its perks. Working affords us with options to support ourselves and our families. When we work, we have a sense of independence, achievement, responsibility and enjoyment. Being employed, whether self-employed or with a company is gratifying. Just think of what life would be without it. Of course, for the retired you have put in your years. It is now time for you to do with your life what you will and enjoy doing what your heart desires.
Experiencing people and interacting with others is a large part of being employed. We have some wonderful experiences and some less than nice ones. But either way we learn from all of them. We also get to save and/or invest money for later in life. Also, working helps us with medical expenses through healthcare plans provided by the company. Being employed gives us a sense of purpose in life too. We get up and feel like we are making a difference. While working, we can be creative, and this is great for mental and physical health.
Another plus is being able to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Going away for weekend trips and or vacations. Spoiling ourselves every so often. For some, it is just the sheer joy of keeping busy and doing something. It is important to try to strike a balance and not totally let work consume us. Enjoy life and have some fun too.
Can you answer this? What are the benefits to being employed? What do you say?
Who is your favorite comedian? We have so many performers who have a natural gift to make others laugh. Who do you admire for their talent to lift others up through laughter? It is not an easy thing to stand up in front of a crowd of people, not knowing how your jokes are going to be received.
Acting in movies and performing improv are some forms to the art of comedy. What a talent to bring a smile to others and make people laugh. Who are your favorite comedians?
Both men and women have lost in love at least once. Some are fortunate enough to have found their true love. I say true love because there is a difference in saying you love someone and showing it. Do you think men are more capable of love than women? It depends on who you ask and their experience with love.
In my opinion, I think women are more capable of love. The reason is because women are nurturers and mothers and as such, more accepting. I don’t believe that you can be accepting without love. You have to start with love in order to accept or nurture something or someone.
Don’t get me wrong, men are capable too. I have seen it. It does exist. We must give them credit. I think the thing that holds some men back is feeling less masculine when showing their loving or nurturing side.
Can you answer this? Is a man or woman more capable of love? What do you think?
When you think of home does it make you smile? Home is a safe haven away from everything else. It is the place where you can be yourself. It’s where you go to rest and recharge after a hard day at work. Think of it as your sanctuary.
What I’m saying is that a home is more than just bricks and wood on a cement slab. It’s a place to relax while watching a good movie. Also, one of the best places to enjoy a meal with family. A peaceful place to gather your thoughts and meditate, if you want to.
If home does not resonate in a positive way, think of ways to change that and make it a happy place for you. It’s the least you can do for your wellbeing. 😉 I know it is not always possible to have a quiet moment if you have small children. Just find a space and/or corner of the house to call your own. Make it your go-to place in those moments of stress. Call it whatever you want in order to recharge your mind.
Can You Answer This? Why Are You Thankful? What are you giving thanks for? We have all heard the saying, this is the season for giving. But I pose the question, what are you giving thanks for? Some of us are thankful to have our health and some are thankful to have their pockets full of cash. Material things are nice to have too but they cannot give you a hug or a kiss. You can’t confide in a new car or electronic device. You can’t cry on the shoulder of a new pair of shoes or other clothing items. You get where I’m going with this.
Giving is such a great feeling and it benefits both the giver and the receiver. As the human race, we all have different paths to walk in life, so there are different things that affect us. The thing to remember is that we only get one chance to do this. We don’t get a do-over. So, I ask again; what are you giving thanks for? Personally, I am thankful for the people in my life. Both near and far. So, be it a roof over your head, a job/career, a car to get back and forth, children, spouse, family. Nothing is too small to measure.
Superstition- a widely held but unjustified belief in supernatural causation leading to certain consequences of an action or event, or a practice based on such a belief
Are you superstitious? What exactly are superstitions? They are things that people perceive as true but really are not. I have heard some of these over the years and just when I thought I heard them all; another one pops up. Which ones have you heard and/or believe in?
Don’t step on the crack in the sidewalk
If a penny is on tails don’t pick it up
You will have bad luck if a black cat crosses your path
Keep the chain letter going or you will have 7 years of bad luck
Don’t split the pole when walking with another person
Something bad always happens on Friday the 13th
Umbrellas should not be opened indoors
Four leaf clovers are good luck
If a bird poops on you it is good luck
Rubbing a rabbit’s foot brings good luck
It’s good luck to knock on wood
If you break a mirror you will have bad luck
So, thinking about the things you have heard do you think any of these things are true? Are you superstitious?
Can You Answer This? What is Your Take on Re-gifting?
The holiday season is upon us. What do you say about re-gifting? Do you think it is perfectly fine to re-gift something that you have received, then give it to someone else? Do you find it rude? Let’s hear what you think about this. If you are someone who believes in re-gifting, are there rules to this? Some people call it recycling, reusing or not wasting. I have also heard it called re-purposing.
I always feel like a gift is a gift. It is the thought that counts. If someone took the time and money to pick something out for me, I appreciate it. I don’t know that I can honestly say, I would be okay with someone re-gifting a present I gave to them. Something to think about. Where do you stand on the subject?
Can You Answer This? Name one of your favorite cartoon characters and tell us why.
Back in the day cartoons were something that most kids looked forward to watching on Saturday mornings. After school was a popular time to watch too.
One of my favorite cartoon characters is Wile E. Coyote. He was a villain, but I admire his tenacity. No matter how many times he was run over, smashed with a boulder, hit in the head and blown up with dynamite; he never gave up!! He had some determination in his quest to catch Road Runner.
Even though Road Runner outsmarted him, Wile E. would plot out his attempts and see them through, no matter what. He didn’t let any obstacle stand in his way! I can’t count how many times he has fallen from a cliff and still came back. He is resilient! Gotta love that. 🙂
You might be one of those people who are contemplating leaving the United States. Why? Because there is a lot going on right now. I know that the US is not the only place with its set of problems. Any place you choose to live will come with its own unique challenges.
Let’s say you are one of those people who had to leave the US, where would you go? Would you go to Canada, Mexico, Africa, Australia, India, Italy, Japan, Jamaica, or the United Kingdom? And why did you choose that place? Maybe it’s another location not on this list, tell us about it.
If you have ever been anywhere up North, you know that most places are full of energy. Living in the North gives you street knowledge that you can take with you, no matter where you go. You might think that street knowledge is nothing but it really is valuable.
There is always something to do or somewhere to go up North. Let’s say that you wake up at 1:00 am and want a sandwich. Well, you can go to the corner Bodega and get a Pastrami sandwich, Ham and Cheese or a Veggie. They used to sell Buttered rolls on a Kaiser bun too. I know you might say, who wants a sandwich with just butter?! Don’t knock it until you try it. Maybe you want a slice of pizza, you can probably get that too at the Pizzeria.
A lot places up North stay open late so you can go out and have a good time. Stay as long as you want and not have to rush home. Living in the North costs a little more and you don’t get as much space for your buck. If you want a little more “plush” in your neighborhood, living in South Jersey is nice. Pennsylvania has some nice parts as well that are not all concrete. Connecticut is also a nice state. You can find nice parts in about all the States.
Some of the things to look out for living in the North are people trying to rob you. It is a little stressful living up north with the traffic and aggressive drivers. You have to always be on guard and watching your surroundings. The minute someone sees you slippin’, that’s when you will get got! Don’t speak to people you don’t know and do not, repeat DO NOT stare at anyone up North. This is not a good thing.
The Good
The North has neighborhood schools. Kids can go to school with people they know and who live in their neighborhood. They are not riding a noxious school bus for hours to and from school.
Convenient lifestyle. You can find anything you want or need at virtually any time of day or night.
Plenty of things to do and places to go. There is an abundance of places to go and things to do.
Higher salaries. People make more money living up North compared to salaries down South.
Wide selection of clothing. There is no shortage of places to go shopping. It is not hard to find a last-minute outfit for any occasion.
Easy to get around. You can take the bus, train, Uber, Lyft, etc or better yet, walk. You are not dependent on a car to get from point A to B.
The Bad
The North also comes with higher cost of living for smaller spaces.
Higher crime rates are also in a lot of Northern parts of the world.
Densely populated areas make for more cramped living.
Most parts of the North are concrete. A lot of locations do not have a lot of grass or trees.
The noise level with people blowing the horn.
THE SOUTH
The South is a lot greener compared to its Northern counterparts. There are a lot of trees and grass to be found. Your money can stretch a lot further with real estate in the South. You get a lot more land, interior space and amenities for your money. The environment in the South is a lot more laid back and relaxed. Everyone is not in such a rush; most of the time.
The Good
Greener pastures. More trees and grass make for better air quality.
Slower pace. Less stressful than living up North. Most people in the South move at their own pace, very slowly.
Friendly people.
More amenities for your money when it comes to housing.
Lower cost of living; but some parts of the South are catching up to the North.
The Bad
Busing to and from school. Some kids have to ride a school bus and the ride can last up to 2 hours. Kids are zoned in schools that may not be close to where they live.
Humid climate. If you like the heat but without the added humidity, the South may not be for you.
Car dependent. You have to drive to most places in the South. A lot of southern areas have limited or no public transportation.
As you can see, both parts of the world have their good points and bad. It all depends on your lifestyle and your personal preferences. You might prefer more space and a lower salary. You might prefer to live close to other people and being able to get around easily. Where do you think is the better place to live, up North or down South?
What is the favorite thing you like about your hometown? Is it the people, music, energy, food or general overall feeling of home?
City people might say that they love the energy of their city, with all the hustle and bustle. On the other hand, if you are from the country or more rural area people might say that they like the peace and quiet of the environment. What is your take on what you like most about your hometown?
